I was a teenager in the 70's! I had a turquoise turtle neck (or polo neck as they're often called in the UK) which was so synthetic it crackled and gave off tiny sparks when I took it off, and my hair picked up the static and looked like a dandelion clock! Oh my god that dress is so pretty, my mom wore one similar to that back in the late 70s to church when I was a kid, though not the exact same, very reminiscent of the dress you’re wearing here, I still to this day wear bell bottom plaid golf pants and my old 70s dagger collar polos and button downs, gets lots of compliments
